Enlarge an image without losing quality
Need a small picture to print big? Upload it, choose 2x or 4x, and the AI rebuilds edges and textures so the enlarged version looks like it was shot at that size. Download at 300 DPI for posters, canvas prints and signage.

A photo contains a fixed number of pixels. When you stretch it, each pixel just gets bigger, so edges turn into blocks or blur. The only fix is to add real pixels with new detail, which is what AI upscaling does.
Choose the right size for your print
Multiply the print size in inches by 300 to get the pixels you need. A 16 × 20 in canvas needs about 4800 × 6000 px. Use 4x for small sources and 2x when the image is already medium-sized.
Frequently asked questions
Upload the photo, pick 4x and download a JPG or TIFF at 300 DPI. A 1000 px wide photo becomes 4000 px, which prints about 34 cm (13 in) wide at 300 DPI, or larger at poster viewing distance.
